I live in Italy (Rome) and collect
orchids. My collections has more than 450 plants, paphs are about
130, most species. My greenhouse is 3 x
8 metres, the direction is E-W and it is over my head,it means
over my house, just like the greenhouse of the famous literature
hero, the detective Nero Wolfe. We have hot in summer (about
38 C), but the cooling and misting system reduce the temperature
enough. This winter was cooler as in the past, but usually we
haven't frost or snow. I have an heat system too.
